Potholes

Potholes are reappearing along this road again! Fed up of reporting them only for the council to send out the same sub contractors who obviously are not doing a good job. This is a busy road, doesn’t it make sense just to resurface the whole road like you’ve done on other roads leading in/out of Soudley

Thank you for reporting a pothole.
First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
