Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem
Reported in the Loose/rattling cover/ironwork category by Gloucestershire County Council at 15:36, Friday 26 July 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 6280530.
Email received 26/07/2024 - copy attached. Highways have jetted a drain at the location - the distance is approximately 5 metres. Since then, during adverse weather, the customer is experiencing flooding to a wall at the rear of their property as well an Annex (also at the rear of the property). Highways have recommended that the customer speak to a contractor in order to deploy a camera into the drain to determine if the damage, which is causing the flooding, is located in the residential boundary or the authority boundary. This will help determine who's responsibility it is to resolve the problem. The survey has now been completed and the customer states evidence suggests that the damage was caused by the drain jetting. They ask that Highways take remedial action as soon as possible.
