Warped, damaged and raised pavement, 5 Pilley Lane
Reported via desktop in the Other damage to pavement i.e. cobbles, raised mound/surface category anonymously at 21:56, Sunday 30 June 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6174154.
Pavement on the drop kerb at 5 Pilley Lane have been severly damaged due to the trucks and lorries delivering to the new C-o- development in Leckhampton. Over the course of 2 weeks the crack started to show as trucks and machinary has been delivered to site. The image of the truck i've shared was the finla truck that cased the damage in the photos.
This pavement has only recently in the last 2 years been updated to a dropped kerb and freshly tarmaced. Prior to the development starting there were no issues at all with the pavement.
The issue is very clear in that those walking past have to clearly walk onto our drive to avoid the raised tarmac now. As well as the fact we can no longer use one side of our drive due to the impact this would have driving our car over the large raise tarmac in fron of our house.
If needed we have more example videos caught via our doorbell camera which show the development by Mark Holland Ltd as the cause of the issue with the delivers having no respect for those houses opposite the development, often using our drive as a turning point.
Please can this be addressed at it's earliest conveniece.
Many thanks
Marcel Court 5 Pilley Lane
