Traffic lights

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6055802.

The traffic lights at the end of Wheatway as it meets Painswick Road are not working properly. Generally many people do not stop near enough to the lights to activate the sensors. This problem was solved in the past by using an infra-red camera to detect approaching vehicles. This appears not to be working now resulting in vehicles backing up Wheatway beyond Meerstone Way. Can this be fixed, please?
