Bridleway is completely poached. Unfortunately this causes issues with riders as it’s very hard to ride on. We do not however want this to be closed off as there is nowhere else to ride if you do this. There are not really enough Bridleways for the amount of riders in the area

Most of the way down the bridleway is poached with short bits in between that are ok. The same applies to the bridleways further down the road.

  • This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.

    If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

    An update on the issue will be provided.
