At least 12 holes in Weston Road

Reported via desktop in the A pothole in road category by Mr T G T Wooldridge at 13:03, Monday 6 May 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5937121.

Weston Road from Stroud road to walkway into the park. This is an important cycle route - these numerous holes and other general defects are making it difficult to cycle and a high risk of a casualty.

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

We will provide updates about this report.
