Surface is damaged problem
Reported in the Surface is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 09:51, Tuesday 30 April 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 5925431.
Email received 28/04/2024: Have the contractors who repaired the Riverside Path in Winchcombe been paid and was there a clause in the contract to make good the path? These references are simply spot points on the path.
The fine grit top surface of the path has been destroyed leaving just a coarse aggregate surface which prevents pushchair and wheelchair users from using it (see attached photo). This is a degradation of the path surface prior to the contractors' work. Regardless of whether they have been paid , they should be asked to reinstate. If they have been paid then there is the separate question of who signed the work off. I shall leave that to lie for now as I just want the path reinstated.
