Blocked drain at junction
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5826906.
Hello. I’ve had a report from Craig to say he is working behind the scenes on this but I’d like to know what action is being taken & when? This drain is blocked solid & following overnight rainfall the junction is flooded again & pedestrian pathway is again impassable- forcing people to skirt round in to the traffic at a dangerous point.

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
