Footpath totally impassable after tractor use

Reported via desktop in the Path/Way not reinstated after ploughing category anonymously at 12:16, Tuesday 12 March 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5701081.

The footpath from Framilode Passage to Wick Court is impassable due to mud almost a foot deep in the gateway near to the animal shed on the adjoining field. A tractor has been used when cutting hedges and this has made the problem even worse. This is a public footpath and should not be left impassable, particularly as other routes now have locked gates. The landowner is trying to prevent walkers from accessing the fields.
