Path illegally diverted problem

Reported via Open311 in the Path illegally diverted category by Gloucestershire County Council at 12:46, Tue 12 December 2023

FixMyStreet ref: 5311325.

email rcvd 11.12.23 - Good afternoon

I have been asked by Parish Councillors to enquire about the diversion of the above Bridleway. The bridleway appears to have been diverted to further away from the entrance to the Old Rectory (its former entry/exit) and to come out onto Rectory Lane approximately 5 yards further up. This is a new entrance and is exiting onto a highway at a junction and on a significant slope.
Has this been approved by Gloucesterhire Highways and if so will the footpath be updated on the plan? Has permission been given for the new entrance and if so would we have been consulted?
I can be contacted on the telephone number below or this email.

Regards
