Tree is damaged problem
Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 15:19, Wed 29 November 2023
FixMyStreet ref: 5265668.
email rcvd 28.11.23 - There are some rather large trees opposite my house (and the adjoining cottages) situated directly on the A46. I believe from Stroud Council that these are your responsibility to maintain.
One of the trees - directly opposite my house - is leaning in a direction that, if it were to be uprooted during a storm or high winds, would fall directly onto my property and cause significant damage.
I'm not sure when these trees were last investigated or maintained, but I don't believe they have been pruned/cut back in the almost 2 years I have lived here. And over the last few months, several large branches that overhang my outbuilding have snapped off and fallen on the roof.
I would be grateful if you could let me know when they were last assessed by a tree surgeon and when they are next scheduled for a site visit/maintenance.
As an aside, I'd be grateful if you could also assess the wall on the A46 that runs along the top and the back of our outbuildings. This looks to be in a state of disrepair in places.
